I may have misquoted the wrong post. but the script has a warning about not using it for long periods of time. was wondering what the concern was. from what i have been able to read it may be the focusing motor.
I think there was some concern expressed about the life of the display if you turn it on/off every shot. You could very quickly exceed Canons expected number of cycles if you turn on/off every few seconds for days on end. If the backlight is CCFL rather than LED (which AFAIK it is on older Canons at least), this may be significant. However, this random google result
