Help wanted installing CHDK on 720IS

I have downloaded allbest-a720-100c-31.zip and the extrcted it to my SD card. The two files DISKBOOT.BIN and PS.FIR are on the card in the root directory. I put the card into the 720IS (1.00c) and then switch on in play mode. Then I press the MENU button.  There is no sign of FIRM UPDATE. What am I doing wrong?

You have to load CHDK via autoboot. The installation process is described in the wiki (see last three lines).
Also see Can't load CHDK on A650.

  :D I finally got it to load by using a hex editor to modify the boot sector of a formatted SD disk. Thank you for your help.
