The testing page asks: "Take a several of raw or DNG and make sure that the file numbers match the jpeg, and that no raws are skipped. Try both continuous mode and individual shots."

When shooting DNGs with IXUS 100 in fast manual sequence not all JPEGS have DNGs alongside them. Some are skipped. Pease direct on how to narrow this down further.

My FW is 1.00C

Koshy had a little ELPH which wasn't white as snow but everywhere that Koshy went the ELPH was sure to go. (actually an SD, but that detail ruins the rhyme...)

Here's a test build.

When you say

I assume you mean pressing full press quickly without waiting for the focus to be ready?

Don't forget what the H stands for.

Well analyzed. I could not have told you that that was what caused the problem but it was and your attached version fixed it. With it I can fully depress the shutter button and get both JPEG and DNG where before I got just a JPEG and halfway pressing of the shutter button was required to get a DNG, too.

Thanks for fixing this.

It's a problem we've seen before.

Today I found that the TX1, IXUS 60 & 65 and IXUS 75 have the same problem.

DNG is present if the shutter button is half pressed but not if it's pressed fully right away.

My TX1 FW is 101B
My IXUS 60 FW is 100A
My IXUS 65 FW is 100A
My IXUS 75 FW is 101B

I used the latest CHDK 1.2 on the I60 / I65 / I75 / TX1

Test version for ixus75_sd750 101b=101a
Changes:
- Simpler loader
- capt_seq.c rewritten using code_gen.

exp_drv_task was added, please test if long exposure (time > 64s) works.

Test version for ixus75_sd750 101b=101a

Powering up via power button still does not work, powering up via play button works.

exp_drv_task was added, please test if long exposure (time > 64s) works.

Please point me to a guide on how to do this or give a quick step by step.

I'll be away until Sunday night, so no rush.

I have not modified that. Probably that bug affects all vxworks cameras without select mode switch. I have not found the function to fix it.

To setup exposure time = 90 seconds:

CHDK Menu -> Enhanced Photo Operations ->
Disable Overrides [No]
Override Tv Type [Long Exp]
Long Exp. Value [ * ] [00:01:30]

Long Exp. Value fiels has the format HH:MM:SS. To move to next column use DISP key.

Not quite :) After a second of puzzlement with DISP I read the link and found the
"Use the zoom lever to move between the different hh:mm:ss fields"

exp_drv_task was added, please test if long exposure (time > 64s) works.
O.k. so I tried shooting inside the closet with the 00:01:31 setting and it worked just fine.

- capt_seq.c rewritten using code_gen.
I tried this one also now and fully depressing the shutter button on I75 creates a DNG every time now.

srsa_4c posted a suggestion on how it might work in the according thread. Can you make it into something to try?

I'll try to fix that. I'll post a new version to that thread.
