Split the lgi / new gui discussion to https://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=14117.0

It's a little disjointed with the Lua 5.3 stuff (which I mostly left here), but I think it makes sense to have it's own thread, and this one is already quite long ;)

Since my Windows Update from 7 to 10, my CHDKPTP no longer works.
The libusb0.dll cannot be found.
I've already tried to reinstall the driver with zadig-2.5.exe, but it didn't work.
What else can i do?

It works again now. I can't say what exactly it was. I just used a different USB port.

Build 964 is posted on the files pages: https://app.assembla.com/spaces/chdkptp/documents

Main purpose is to provide a build that supports CHDK 1.5 Canon raw remote shoot. I also added a CLI command 'clock' which allows setting the camera clock or synchronizing it to the host. Other tweaks and fixes are listed in the changelog https://app.assembla.com/spaces/chdkptp/wiki/Changelog

Linux builds tested on Raspberry Pi OS (formerly raspbian) 10, Debian 10, Ubuntu 20.04 and 20.10, Fedora 31 and 33.

These builds are still use Lua 5.2, and do not include philmoz alternate GUI.

os.stat is a CHDK addition to camera side Lua (which is still version 5.1). If you want equivalent operations in chdkptp PC side Lua, you would use lfs.attributes

Hi all! Thanks for making this great program!!

I'm using a s95 and my live viewport shows only the top half? What am I doing wrong? Photos turn out fine - I just can't see half of what I'm shooting!!

Thanks for any advice / guidance :)

It looks like the viewport functions in the s95 port are probably incomplete, which firmware do you have?

Also, can you check the zebra function like described here https://chdk.fandom.com/wiki/Testing#Zebra_test (using the camera LCD, not chdkptp)
