finally got a chance to use ufraw and some of the raw files ive been shooting, pixeldoc if you ever end up traveling to the los angeles area let me know. im gona buy you a massive round.

this is by far the coolest thing about the chdk and im amazed its already part of the sd900

I tried DNG converter for the CRW files with no luck.  My goal is to be able to import the RAW files into Photoshop.  I use a mac and have not been impressed with the available 3rd party RAW conversion software.  I am comfortable with Photoshop and Capture One.  Can someone please help so I can try to use CRW from the SD900 in one these programs??

As written before, have your tried dng4ps or ufraw?

RAW suppport is not finished yet... sometimes the raw images are corrupted!

I have been shooting for several days with v17 no problems good results using bracketing, video, custom auto iso , user menu, nd filter state, and fast ev switching,  GOOD JOB pixeldoc

please test Beta v18, now F stop value should be correct!

How to get your F stop value?
1. make a picture at every zoom step and note the value of property case #68 (with normal light conditions)
2. repeated step 1. but with very bright light (where camera enables nd filter by itself)
3. look at the exif data from the pictures
4. insert exif and propcase values into aperture_sizes_table at shooting.c

Because you asked, All of my shots with the 900 have been for testing looking for correct exposure and functions, nothing I really want to show but I have attached two, I have mostly been playing with my Christmas toy the SD990.  Both from the SD900 with CHDK the tree was only resized (it was the base shot of a group of bracketed shots to play with HDR in the future),  the 2nd shot Monday night out of a air plane window between Chicago and Detroit of clouds lit from below (looked better in real life) 1/2 sec. f2.8 iso = 536 added some saturation and resized, both with custom auto iso.

Loaded v18 and the camera f stop display still shows ? not f8 but the exif data shows correct at f8 when the nd filter is in due to bright light

with ND filter forced IN with CHDK the camera display shows f2.8 (should be f8) and the exif data also shows f2.8 the image is under exposed by about 3 stops  ~ (I checked my SD500 and it operates the same way, exif data does not show CHDK forced ND filter "in" correctly,  with filter in due to CHDK the exif data shoes f2.8 )

Sorry, made you confused.
I meant in a previous request was about Micellaneous Values>Show Zoom>Show Zoom value as(X,FL,EFL).
Each values of X,FL,EFL currently shown on display are little far from specifications.

I loaded v18, F stop values obtained from EXIF file are exactly same as you corrected for each step, but still "?" is seen for F8.
