I have just dug out my old Canon 10D EOS camera and thought I would put it to use as a time lapse and motion detection camera. But I was wondering if this camera will be supported in the future.

If support has not been by now, I doubt it will ever be added; have a look to section "Digic I" at http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Unsupported_Cameras
