Didn't realize there was a boot flag.I've used STICK in the past...I'll rebuild using the package you just posted rather than the one that auto downloads with STICK.

The new build appears to have fixed the problem.
camera boots(does not lock up) and ultimate.lua launches (no memory error)
the autotracking focus function is kind of a pain (know how to turn that off permanently?)

According to page 92 in the A2200 User Manual , the choice of AF Frame mode is the first menu entry in the Canon menu when the camera is in shooting mode. You probably want to select the Center option?

Thanks for testing, I've made this change in the 1.4 and 1.5 autobuilds.

Not sure what I should do about EXMEM on this cam, 370k is still kind of marginal, but EXMEM has side effects on some cams. For now I've left it the way it was: 100d with EXMEM and 100b/100c without.

I did have to put camera in P mode to make this change. I've only had this camera for less than an week (bought used). Still figuring it out.

It looks like this camera also has the wrong active area. It's not as bad as the SX230 HS but you can get a slightly wider image with this:

Note that for pictures zoomed out all the way you can see that the edges did not have vignetting correction applied.
