Hello & welcome in the forum, seawe !

It's an existential information, you can check whether there's an CHDK available for your camera with this firmware version...

At the moment there are beta versions for the Ixus 60 (=SD600) available with the firmware version 1.00a & 1.00d...

Hey guys!

For a while now, My Canon sd1000 will not show me the firmware that it originally had, in which it constantly shows the ver 1.0.1.0 thing.  I tried, like the person before, different cards, tried formating, even tried different combinations of ver.req, but nothing seems to solve this solution!  Any tips or help?

Excellent! My A640 shows 155963, which is believable, actually. It's my main timelapse camera, so it's certainly shot many days of a frame every 3-5 seconds. My IR S3IS says 1189, which also makes sense.

Good find, thanks.

This works on my sd1100is but the total shots shows to be 20 and I'm pretty sure I've taken more than that. :?

You will see "Total shoot:" string.

Note: Works with the brandnew G11! Time to update the first post, folks...  :xmas

Hello & welcome, hippygirl !
What was the solution?

Use vers.req as filename instead of ver.req ...
