Well i'm glad you got this sorted out nafraf [as per
http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=10220.0].
I remember looking at the eye-fi forum a while ago and reading this - all seemed a little prone to interference:
"
...What you should do with the wifi is split the cards evenly across the 3 non-interfering channels; 1, 6, & 11 using 3 wifi routers. That should keep the noise down and reliability up. Then just use a switch on the back end with your pc(s) attached to the network. Given that 40 cards won't fit on a single account, you'll need to have a few accounts/helpers running. To do that on a PC will take some work. Using a something like VMware and running multiple OS instances could work but it would be much simpler to use multiple PCs."
Anyway, at that time I was talking to both James Gentles and Maurice Ribble [the CameraAxe designer
http://www.cameraaxe.com/] to understand if there was any chance of interoperability between the gentSTEREO-proSDM TRIAC flash output [(2.5mm mono jack) variable between 2 and 50mS after the shutter release] and an input of the Camera-Axe. The Camera-Axe has a chainable opto-isolated multi-flash / shutter release add on card
http://www.techphotoblog.com/tpb-50/.
The aim: to design a low-cost startup system with multi point&shoot contolled by CHDK and multi-studio flash controlled by camera-axe and [as funds would allow] to add dslr to the mix with the shutter release also controlled by camera-axe and dslr tethering/image download managed by something like smartshooter
http://hartcw.com/.
Can you foresee any possibility that the electronics that you have developed could be further developed to provide the interoperability with camera-axe to create a truly flexible point&shoot / dslr solution ?
Any comment appreciated.
