Hello... New to the forum here.

Anyways, I got myself an IXUS 70, and would like to know which CHDK works for my IXUS 70?

Firmware 1.0.1.0

Wish to use CHDK firmware for RAW shooting mode.

Thank you!  :)

Index of /chdk/

For example from here?

I suppose that it works with your firmware, but the version code we useally use here is like that: 101b.
If it doesn't work at all you can post your "true" Version code.

Here is how to get it: FAQ - CHDK Wiki

Thanks! Got it working, however have the following problems, which I think it's not normal after reading the FAQ..

1. I can't find "RAW" option
2. Each time I switch off my camera, the firmware simply "disappears", and I have to reload it each time I switch on my camera

My "true" version code is 1.01b and I've downloaded the correct version.

Thanks for all the help! :)

If you have a "small"(Card<=2GB) Card (FAT) you can place DISKBOOT.BIN into the root-folder (top-most-folder)
of your SD and lock the Card. After that you have to load CHDK manually and goto Debug parameters ant then click the last entry "make card bootable ...". Switch of your cam and CHDK should automatically start on power up.

I thought FAQ says all that? ::)

We really have to thank the ones for the great WIKI.
It contains much information, for beginners the FAQs are really useful.

THESE ARE CALLED FAQ = Frequently Asked Questions, because they are frequently asked.
So please read the FAQ first, search the board and then post.k

Sorry for that, but it's pretty annoying to repeat the same answers.

Maybe some javascript popup like that one?

Just joking! :haha

Edit to under me: Didn't want to "get rid" of somebody! That's why I wrote "Sorry for that, but it's pretty..."
I only wanted to get rid of the repeat-answer-things.
