Oops.  Actually only tried it on my S2.  Was thinking of Ewavr's build.

hmmm I don`t all undestand
if I change ISO I see biger Noise
this is REAL ISO 1600 (but why noise is like ISO 800?) or this is only equivalent
 ISO 800 +1EV ?
in 710 - ISO 1600 is max
I can`t see difference between 1600 and 3200

It doesn't appear that "AllBest" created a build for the A570 cameras yet (or might not be able to?). So just browse the CHDK Wikia Downloads page to find the version that you like best. You've got three flavor to choose from, EWAVR's, Fingalo's, and Microfunguy's. Read the info on each one. There's also a little overview on the main page in the "Special Builds" section at the bottom of the main CHDK page.

I think there is some kind of unwanted interaction between Zebra mode and the DOF calculator (tested on S3 IS):

1) setting the 'Zebra mode' (any) shows the "old" Depth-of-Field 'R1/R2' and Hyperfocal distance 'DOF/HYP' too.
2) setting 'Zebra mode style 1-2' or 'Solid' causes the DOF calculator to malfunction and to display wrong numbers, even the new additional values like 'real ISO' etc. are not updated anymore.

Unsetting the 'Zebra mode', all get back to normality.

Can anybody try the same settings, just to confirm the presence of this malfunction?

if the exposure (e.g. 1/60) is the same, but the image is brighter than with ISO 800 -> higher ISO
at least thats my conclusion... :P

I tested ISO in A630:

1. 1/15s F8.0 ISO 800 Ev (override => MIN [2.82] )



2. 1/15s F8.0 ISO 1200 Ev (override => MIN [2.82] )

Is the reason there is no build for A570 because that particular model doesn't compile?

I tried compiling from sources for A570 101a and get the following compile error.
