I'm using Allbest Build 50 on an SD850.

With a 15" exposure, it takes ~45sec for a RAW capture weather NR is set to OFF or ON.

I had the same problem with an SDM build the SD850.

You're right, I missed it:  nrflag in capt_seq.c is incorrect. As far as I can see, the correct value should be

I have no possibility to test at the moment, but I will get back some time later.

Yes, all is correct, in my deleted message I speak about IXUS850 (not SD850).  ;)

This doesn't seem to fix the problem.

Using this release on my SD850:
http://grandag.nm.ru/hdk/autobuild/allbest-ixus950_sd850-100c-50.zip

When I capture a 15" exposure (operating the camera in single capture manual mode with RAW capture enabled):
with NR "ON": it takes 37" from shutter until the camera returns to live preview
with NR "OFF": it takes 37" from shutter until the camera returns to live preview

With NR "OFF" I would expect the time to be significantly shorter.
