Hello:

Obviously I am a newby in all that means.

But I know enough about computers and cameras. But I have a real trouble installing CHDK on my PowerShot Sx30 IS.

After follow all the steps shown. Install the bootable SD card in FAT 32 on my camera. Turns On and nothing. Always run in Canon firmware.

Well, I turned off and turns on in play mode. Try to find Firmware update, but it isn't in the manu. After Transition Options there are any other option in the menu.

There are one trick to unhide that option in my camera?

What instructions did you follow?   For example,  the SX30 was released prior to 2011 and will not autoboot CHDK from a FAT32 card.

HINT : You probably want to use the STICK Utility linked at the top of that page.
