I know this is of little interest, but the odd situation I had was different from what is being discussed:
1) problem: sporadic black frames in intervalometer sequences if delay was <20sec
2) card formatted in PC
3) problem stays
4) card formatted in camera
5) problem solved
On topic: as soon as i have a good occasion I will do a smoother video with the same horses
