I got to the point where all the information is loaded to the SD card, it loads to the camera, however I don't CHDK logo at startup, I just a get a quick message.  Secondly I compare it to videos on youtube and it seems the scripts are missing, can someone let me know what I am doing wrong.  I am trying to get the intervolameter to work.

Specs
Canon Powershot S100
Firmware 1.02b
CHDK version for S100 and 1.02b stable

Also I used ACID and SMD to format the card and load the software.

The s100 is a recent camera and thus will boot from a FAT32 card - it doesn't need to partitions. How big is the card you are using? If bigger than 4Gb, did you create two partitions? If so, CHDK might boot from the small partition but not be able to locate the scripts etc which are in the large partition.

If this is the case, re-format the card (using the Canon camera menu) then use my STICK app to reinstall CHDK - it will make sure that the card is set up properly.

You can download STICK here http://www.zenoshrdlu.com/stick/stick.html

Thanks Dave for your reply, here is more or less how I did it, first I formatted the card in disk utility (mac) FAT, then I reformat it to FAT32 in the software and loaded the file.  The card size is 4GB and I don't remember if I selected a partition.  If you can briefly give me details on the proper procedure I would really appreciate it.  I will try again when I get home today.

Thanks

Marco

You might load your SD card into your computer and look at Scripts sub-directory in the CHDK directory.  If it is empty, then look at all the other sub-directories to see if any of them have files in them.

Good catch, I hadn't realized I had misspelled the name and I figured you were trolling.   Anyway, I am going to try to see if I get this thing working tonight.
