My memory card got full right away and I notice a folder that copies of my photos in DNG, is there a way to disable it?

Actually,  is more a question of not enabling it.  From the main menu, go to the RAW menu and in the very first menu item,  turn it off.

You probably accidentally enabled it with one of the magic keyboard shortcuts you get while in ALT mode.
