Cant load CHDK on Canon SX130is

Cant load CHDK on Canon SX130is

8GB card is formatted correctly. I downloaded and unzipped "sx130is-101f-1.1.0-2905-full_BETA.zip".

I put the following files/directory on the root of the card;

CHDK (directory)
changelog.txt
DISKBOOT.BIN
PS.FI2
readme.txt
vers.req

I start the camera in "play" mode, get into the menu, and go to firmware update, where I get the screen that says "Update firmware version? 1.0.1.0>1.1.0.0" cursor to "OK" and the camera just shuts off. I have to remove the batteries to get it back to the factory firmware.

What am I missing?

This almost always means that you have not loaded the correct CHDK file for your camera's firmware version.

Thanks for the reply, but the camera *IS* an SX130is, and thats the file I extracted.

To make the story short:
Exept sx130is-101f build on download server there are also and
sx130is-101c, sx130is-101d.My camera is OK with sx130is-101c.
Try two above versions and you will aim correct version for your Cam.

If you still have the same camera, you need the 101c CHDK package for the SX130IS.
