CHDK for A2400IS

Hi
I am new to this area and need a little help.
I have searched everywhere for CHDK for Canon PowerShot A2400IS.
Only thing I can find is for the 2300th
Have read here on the forum, and find some posts for 2400.
There are also a few dumps, but I can not download them, links not working.

Hi - there are CHDK builds for 3 of the A2400 firmware versions - 100c, 100d and 100e. To find which one you need and install it, try my STICK app - runs under Windows, Linux and Mac OSX. It's designed to be as simple as possible - just take a picture with your camera, insert the card into a card reader, drop the picture on STICK and press a few buttons and it's done.

By the way, the dumps you mention are no use for installing CHDK - they can't be installed in a camera but are needed by the experts who build CHDK for a new camera.

I don't know what you consider to be "everywhere", but it looks like you missed the CHDK download pages : http://mighty-hoernsche.de/trunk/
Note the the version is still flagged as ALPHA so  its not clear how stable it is.

You might also want to read some of this :

I followed the link from http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/A2400IS
At the top of the page: CHDK is available for the Powershot A2400IS with firmware 1.00c,1.00D and 1.00e as ALPHA version from the Download page.
The link brought me to http://mighty-hoernsche.de/
And there's nothing for 2400.

Can not take photos with the camera at the moment, has lent the camera for 2 weeks.
BTW. There is probably no other difference between 2300 and 2400 except that there is IS on 2400?
So why would not CHDK for the 2300 work, if I have a problem with 2400 ALPHA?
I'll have to wait and see, and come back later.

A2400 is part of trunk version: http://mighty-hoernsche.de/trunk/

Each CHDK port depends of original firmware addresses.  You need a version that matches model and firmware version of your camera.

To know A2400 porting status read: notes.txt and A2400 porting thread.  It is the best thread to ask about that camera :)
