Hi guys.
Have created the two VER files on my SD card but when I start up (using PLAY) and push Func Set all I get is a clock. Pressing any other key only changes the background colour. Can anyone advise if I'm doing this wrong, and how to get it to work? This camera is supposed to be supported.

There are three version of ixus1000 firmware supported.   I suggest you read through this :

http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Prepare_your_SD_card

and use the STICK utility mentioned at the top of that page to setup CHDK on your SD card :
