SX30 Accurate EXIF Data

Advertisements
I have an SX30, and would love it if CHDK wrote the overridden values to EXIF. Especially the Exposure time. Thanks!

WARNING :  when I clicked on download that site just attempted to load a virus / malware version of Adobe Acrobat Update by bringing up a bogus update window warning that my version of Adobe is out of date.  This is a particularly nasty virus - it bypasses virus scanners with ease.  I would not trust any file downloaded from that location!

FWIW, AVG and Microsoft Security Essentials didn't find anything. Scanning my whole system now.

What's the specific name of the virus?

My Nod32 does not show anything, it is zipped Auto CHDK to EXIF.

@WW - any chance you clicked to one of those advertisements normaly shown under the Download button ?
...my ADP kills those ads silently ;)

No - I was very careful to click the correct download button (not the ambush ones).    Tried again and it did not do that.  Still - very scarey.

Maybe is your antivirus little paranoid. Investment of 30 Euros in Nod32 is a good investment. ;)
