ISO fixed 80 if exposure over 1 second (S100 and others?)

I've begun exploring CHDK on my S100 (1.02a) both new to me. Canon fix ISO to 80 with exposures over 1 second - thwarting some uses e.g. low light intervalometer. My efforts to locate a solution or to use CHDK parameters to overcome this limitation have failed so far.

Is it possible? If yes, please can someone give me a pointer.  If not, is it likely that CHDK developments will   overcome this problem? I understand that it is a generic problem with models using the new CMOS sensor.  IS this correct?

It should be possible to override this using the ISO override option in the menu, or one of the ISO override functions in script. If it doesn't work, it may be a problem with that particular port.
Don't forget what the H stands for.

Similar question posted to S100 porting thread, and instructions for test.

Thanks I seem to be on the right track now. My unfamiliarity with the CHDK OSD and settings led me to think I was not getting an override of the ISO.  Now I have to come to terms with using it.
