I use CHDK ve.1.2, and when chdk is active, my camera freezes almost every time when I try to take a picture.
If "freeze" means the camera switches off with extended lens, please get a romlog after that happens:
"miscellaneous stuff" -> "debug parameters" -> "save rom crash log"
You'll find a file named romlog.log in the root of the sd card.
My camera freezes almost every time when I use ND filter. First I thought that was RAM problem, but I turned off every special or advanced options in CHDK's and original cameras menu, but no changes. Tried to reinstall the CHDK, but the same result.
Please reproduce this, and get a romlog afterwards (if messing with the ND settings makes any difference to the above).
There was no problems with the previous CHDK version
The exact CHDK version and build number would be helpful. Please also include your camera's firmware version.
