S5IS + 1.2.0 + DNG + 8 GB card = nothing saved

I've recently installed CHDK 1.2.0 in my S5IS.

If I shot dng from a 4 GB (fat16) card, everything works ok (and FASTER than before).

But if I shot from an 8 GB (fat16 small bootable partition+ fat32 "storage" partition), nothing is saved when shooting in dng (also no error is shown).

crw are saved ok in both cards

It seems a bug in new dng code.

How are you looking for the DNG files?  In a card reader on your PC - looking at the larger "storage" partition?

Does shooting with DNG enabled take as long as it would if it was actually saving?

Are the raw/dng related settings the same on both cards?  CHDK settings are saved in files on the card, so they could be different on different cards. I would look at "raw in dir with jpeg" and the prefix and extension options.

Yes, in a PC, on the large partition. I'm doing the same that I did before updating...

Yes, it takes nearly the same time that shooting in .CRW. But every photo I take checking "DNG format" is saved in .JPG but not in .DNG...

Will look at it and tell you, I have not the camera with me right now.

Not sure if this could be your problem, but you do keep the CHDK modules on the big partition, right?

I've been trying, and camera was doing very strange things, so I've recreated the two partitions, and fresh copied CHDK on it

Now it's working perfectly.
It's saving .DNG and .CRW along wiht .JPG with no problem

It seems something was corrupted in my card
