Keyboard is working, no more freezes... Sdaly I still need to port the most important (?) one.. CaptureSeqTask, to be able to shoot in RAW...
Oh, and I think SD card writing is not working yet...

Ah, one more: I still cannot find the damned address of phy_Sw!! So my camera doesn't know if it is in REC or PLAY mode...

Anyway, reversi is so much fun! Just kidding. :P

In this case look at 0x598C variable (play/rec mode) and S3IS, G7 (and other cams w/o play/rec switch) sources.

Hi el_yopo,

pretty interesting stuff. I am currently trying to do the same for an Ixus 55. Firmware dump is available already, although it seems to be slightly different than the 1.00k Primary I have seen for the Ixus 40. I've notived that your latest code changes are for version 1.01E. Do you have a download link available for the corresponding Primary.bin?

I would be very interested to apply your changes to the Ixus 55 port as well... ;-)

hi,

it looks like there is a finished port for the ixus 65 now and in principle the ixus 65 looks quite similar from the buttons, menues etc. to the ixus 30/40/50, so maybe it is possible to take some code from this port (?) ... see the thread named "Is anyone working on the SD630/Ixus 65? I can help."

I add myself to the list of non-useful people, knowing nothing about C and programming, but willing to add bracketing to my Ixus 40.
Is it possible? And is Ixus 40 = SD300 ?

Hey el_yopo, is the RAR file posted on your site the latest/best code you have?  You mention that you got it somewhat working, but the code in the RAR needed some work before it would compile.  I've been making some progress on the code, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't doing stuff you already have done.

i also try since a few days to get the code form el_yopo to work, but with now success, so if you have something working.

Please upload it somewere.

It would be nice to get CHDK to work...

How similar is the Code of Ixus 50 and Ixus 40?
