I was previously using CHDK 1.1, after I accidentally formatted my camera (and deleted CHDK along with it, RIP my custom scripts) Grabbed the new CHDK (1.2) and found I can't seem to override shutter speed in P mode (what I really need for light painting)
I like the new interface, is there a fix or do I just need to find a v1.1 CHDK?
EDIT: Overrides work when the camera sees darkness. But if I point it at a brighter object, the camera takes over and sets it's own shutter speed.EDIT2: more experimenting. If I quickly press the shutter button, override in brighter area works. If I let it autofocus and figure out the exposure values, it looses the overrides. If I set it to manual focus. Overrides work all the time. I guess this is a non-issue since I'll most likely use manual focus at night. But it's an interesting bug.
@waterwingz, maybe it is not related to the bug but nr_flag in capt_seq.c differs from nr_flag detected by finsig, and sx130 has a particular function: int capt_seq_hook_set_nr_my(int orig)
