SX130is 101F shutter speed override broken in all modes but auto and M

I was previously using CHDK 1.1, after I accidentally formatted my camera (and deleted CHDK along with it, RIP my custom scripts) Grabbed the new CHDK (1.2) and found I can't seem to override shutter speed in P mode (what I really need for light painting)

I like the new interface, is there a fix or do I just need to find a v1.1 CHDK?

EDIT: Overrides work when the camera sees darkness. But if I point it at a brighter object, the camera takes over and sets it's own shutter speed.

EDIT2: more experimenting. If I quickly press the shutter button, override in brighter area works. If I let it autofocus and figure out the exposure values, it looses the overrides. If I set it to manual focus. Overrides work all the time. I guess this is a non-issue since I'll most likely use manual focus at night. But it's an interesting bug.

This is very unusual.  Almost all of the CHDK override code is common to all cameras and there have been no reports of this issue.  The part that's not common but specific to your camera is the same between 1.1 and 1.2 so if you are seeing this in 1.2 then you should have seen it in 1.1

AFAIK, nothing changed between 1.1 and 1.2 that might have caused this.

More very strange behavior.   It seems most likely that you have not set things up correctly with the new 1.2 user interface.  But I can't immediately figure out what.  Can you tell us what you have the first four menu settings in the "Enhanced Photo Operations" menu are set to?   Do you have "Custom Auto ISO" enabled?

Disable overides [no]
include autoiso & bracketing [_]
override TV type -> [LongExp]
Long Exp. Value [ o ][0:00:50]

Custom auto ISO is off.

I'll get a quick video in a few hours. The extra camera that was already on my desk fails at focusing close up.

@waterwingz, maybe it is not related to the bug but nr_flag in capt_seq.c differs from nr_flag detected by finsig,
and sx130 has a particular function: int capt_seq_hook_set_nr_my(int orig)

@nafraf :  certainly worth fixing although its curious that marsrover reports CHDK 1.1 as working properly.
