You did fix it back then.  I have been using an older version.  Sorry, don't intend to be a pest.  I <heart> CHDK.

Been playing around with MD lately. Camera is SX10IS. I think I've got the latest MDFB2013.lua. CHDK ver. SX10-103a-1.4.1-4447-full. I load MDFB2013 in the Script folder and try to start it in CHDK and I get a message '272:attempt to compare number with nil' and apparently the script has stopped, nothing happens. I did play around with the early lightning.bas and it would work but I couldn't get it to do what I wanted. I'm trying to take pictures of stink bugs crawling out of heat/AC return register high up on the walls to see if that's where they are actually coming from. The seem to appear like magic.

Can anyone help me here, I don't know much about these scripts or how to deal with them.

That error occurs in this line of code if you are using the latest version of the script  :

if ( tonumber(bi.build_revision) > 0 ) thenI see you are using the official 1.4 release (now tagged as 1.4.1).  It works for me with the 1.4.0 version currently on my camera.  This makes me wonder if the "new" standard of adding the final .1 to released versions is causing a problem.   I'll look at it later if someone else does not comment first.

I have made a test with the virtual hostlua environment and a third value for the version. It was all fine. Perhaps should first be checked, which is the result for bi.revision. Or what says the build info from the CHDK menu.

I tried ver. SX10-103a-1.1.0 and it does the same thing.

Are you certain you are using the latest version of the script? Download link available from the first post on this forum thread.

Tried again, same thing. Checked CHDK version is 0.9.9-907 Jun 27, 2010. I thought I loaded 1.1.0 but I guess not, I have both of them, actually 3 of them including the 1.4.1. I'll try the other one. I'll try lightning too.
