Loading Script Files

Apologies if this question seems basic, but this is driving me crazy. I have installed the latest stable branch of CHDK (1.2) on the 8GB SD memory card in my Powershot A640. It is a dual partition SD memory card and it is bootable. The standard distribution file structure is in place.

On power up CHDK loads, executes correctly and displays the logo screen.

My problem is that when I invoke the script menu and attempt to load a script from a file NO script files are displayed for selection .. the menu just sits there. I know the script files are there because I can see them if I look at the contents of the SD memory card on my laptop.

What am I dong wrong?

Which partition did you put the script files on? They need to be on the larger one - not the one that CHDK boots from.

Oh! .. that was not obvious .. I thought that the larger partition was reserved strictly for the camera's use. How do I get the scripts onto the larger partion since my laptop only sees the smaller boot partition? What directory structure should be set up on the larger partition?

There are many ways to manage all of this. The best documentation his here :

If you use STICK to setup your SD card in the first place, it will setup the proper directory structure for you.
