Sorry if this is already solved somewhere. Does all CHDK versions support PTP? I am planning to buy Powershot A1300 and I need to run ptp on that. Where can I find more info about it? Thank you very much.
PTP is supported on all ports, although not all features are implemented or fully functional on every port.
Generally, you should look at the cameras porting thread to find out if there are known issues. As far as I know, a1300 should be functional. It has filewrite (remote capture) support, which wouldn't make any sense to implement if basic PTP functionality didn't work.
