I am reasonably new to all this CHDK but have used it with some success on my SX220 and SX50 cameras.
I am now trying some astro photography and Im pushing the iso to 5000 or more.
Results are good but very often th iso is not recorded correctly (using CHDK 1.2) 80% of the time it just gets recorded as '200' regardless of the over-ride setting.
Anyone else seen this phenomena or any suggetions??
Regards, Steve P.

You will probably want to compare pictures taken at different ISO values using the same shutter speed and aperture settings.   I suspect you will find that you will not get much difference as you try to increase the ISO above the Canon defined limit.

The values recorded by Canon firmware in the EXIF will not always match the CHDK override values.  IIRC,  this seems to vary a bit from camera to camera.  Someone else might have a more exact answer for you though.
