Hello, am new here and not very technically versed in computer lingo so please be gentle. I have a Powershot A630 and have installed CHDK by using the update firmware. I cannot create a badpixel bin and not able to see DNG on my computer not even in Lightroom 4. When I try to start a script by half pressing the shutter I get message saying something about Lua not being found. I am trying CHDK in order to shoot Raw and catch lightning strikes. Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

How did you install CHDK?  Sounds like you are missing some files  - you need to copy all the files in the downloaded CHDK ZIP file into their specified directories to the SD card.

You should really consider using the STICK utility linked at the top of that page to setup CHDK for you.
