I thought that after CHDK installation and locked card I can used the menu item - update firmware. but I don't see such menu item in the standard menu. I am sorry, but I am little be confused. Can somebody gives me any advice ?
Many thanks, radim

That's good so far.

It's simple: leave the card locked and take pictures. CHDK will make the cam believe the card is not write protected.

The camera will warn you if it finds a locked card ("memory card locked!"), if you don't see that text, you can shoot.

Hi srsa,
I thought, that after firmware update, I can simply format my card any time after that. So what is a reason to make an firmware update if I have to let CHDK software on my card for ever ?

CHDK can use two different methods to load: the "firmware update" method and the "diskboot" method. These are only starting methods, the camera's firmware won't be touched (unlike on other devices where "flashing" means an actual firmware change).
Since CHDK files only exist on the card, you lose them if you format the card in camera. Of course you can always re-install CHDK on the card.
