Thanks again.  Turns out the G15 is pretty much okay too once the #defines from the tests without the bypass are removed.   The SX50 is still a major crash monkey though.

We are now at 49% of all CHDK supported cameras tested.

I was thinking of adding the P-ID of each of the 122 supported cameras and then sorting the spreadsheet that way. It will be several hours work on the keyboard typing (unless nafraf has another scripting trick up his sleeve or I can just C&P the wiki page ) but I believe that will give us the cameras cronologically sorted in order of release date.   It will be interesting to see if working focus modes change at discrete points in time.

Thanks for taking the trouble to test and report your findings.  Every bit helps.   :xmas   And it would have got us to 50% of cameras tested.

Except that it seems you are running an old version of the test script and a version of CHDK older that release 3303. 

Detailed instructions for the current testing program are here :  set_focus() test instructions

If you are able to rerun the SX160 test using those instructions, it would be most helpful. We still need the results.

Here's the Ixus70sd1000. Note that I can't see how to disable the ServoAF override (nothing in the Canon Menu).

Hi!

I've tested with A640. Had to disable test number 2, because the camera shut down with that. Others passed. Here's the csv file.
