I've been able to generate signed firmware flasher images for the Canon 7D.  The flasher image is encrypted with the same XOR key as the other ones.  It won't reboot cleanly into the ROM image at 0xff010000 (a change from the 5D and other DryOS cameras that use 0xff810000), so I'm still stuck in the flasher code.  Currently I can take over the flasher's main task, turn on the display and read/write to the CF card.
