Help: How to install CHDK in IXUS 240 HS

Help: How to install CHDK in IXUS 240 HS

I am using Canon Powershot ELPH 320 HS (IXUS 240 HS)
I have tried all the procedure to install as provided in this site. But I am not able to use this.

Reason: Canon Powershot ELPH 320 HS (IXUS 240 HS) don't have physical button.
Its only have Playback Button, Power Botton, Shutter Button and Zoom Ring.

Please help me by providing the procedure.

Thank you.

Update:

Not Start up when tap fw update:

Black Screen.

FW Version: 100d

Please be more specific about what procedure you are trying to follow, and what part doesn't work or doesn't make sense with your camera. If you are trying to follow a page on the wiki, give us a link to.

The stick tool linked at http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Bootable_SD_card should do everything you need to install.

There is currently no port for this firmware version in the official CHDK source. I think someone has done some work on this, but I don't know if there is anything that runs yet. You can ask in the porting thread http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=9005.170

100d is compatible with 101a, but they have not been fully tested, so they have not been included in autobuild.

Current Porting Progress for the Ixus 240's, An UpDate.

I now have 100c, 101a, 102a [8 Cameras, and two more in the post]

A 100d has turned up, a few days ago.

The front of the 240-1xxx mechanicaly and opticaly is very similar to Ixus 125
The rear touch screen of the 240-1xxx  is similar to Ixus 310
The Wi-Fi is similar to Ixus 140 but also has a number of differences.
The Movie Mode is only very basic and crashes the camera.

My Porting aproach was to build a custom version, with code taken  from the closest relative camera,
if there were any errors/problems.
 
An Example; The  Touch Screen Offset Error, is fixed by some of the Ixus 310 code.

Good [All Versions]:-
* Compiles, Boots, Runs, Problems,.
* Extra Modes in Mode Map, that work.

Bad [All Versions]:-
* Run Problems, Wi-Fi problems, Crashes.
* For Me the Fir2 dosen't compile.
* A Tempory hold on my porting of the Ixus 240's.
* Lots more testing is required

100d :-
* Behaves similar to the other versions.
* Fir2 not available to make SD card bootable. [ I used my Ixus 115 to do this step]

I also want to CHDK my IXUS 240, and I try to use stick app, it shows I need use 100d, but it is not a official release, so in download page I just can see the download of a firmware dump version 100d. but I dont know how to use that dump 7z package.

if I directly use 1.02a for IXUS 240, copy it to the disk, put in the cam,  it will stuck after click firmware update.

Can anyone help ?

if you look at the end of the IXUS240 porting thread here http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=9005.180
you'll see that Harware_Hacker has just posted a zip for your 100d camera. You can get STICK to install it if you do the following:
1. download the zip (but don't unzip it)
2. copy it to the STICK directory and rename it "test100d.zip"
3. run STICK and drop a photo take with your camera

STICK should analyse the photo and then tell you that it's found a matching zip already downloaded. You can then get it to install it on a card.

Try 101a for IXUS240 HS 100d.
