Ok basically I attempted to follow this tutorial here: http://howto.wired.com/wiki/Supercharge_Your_Camera_with_Open-Source_CHDK_Firmware to install the Allbest build onto my camera.  This tutorial says to download the appropriate package for my camera from this site http://malbe.nm.ru/chdk/ as well as the  english.lng file and install to the topmost directory.  I downloaded both files and installed them to the root "/" of my sd card and then re-inserted it into my camera, went to the view mode and hit "menu."  I do not find a "Firm Update" option anywhere, and cannot depict any menu changes whatsoever. 

In the tutorial it says that the particular build for each camera will contain a "DISKBOOT.BIN and PS.FIR" files.  I downloaded two versions of the build and neither had the PS.FIR file.  Could this be why it isn't showing up?  Also take note that when I switch to playback mode the lens does not retract.  Did I do something else wrong????   

Any help would be greatly appreciated...... I've got to shoot some graduation photos within the next few days and I would REALLY like to be able to utilize the Allbest features on my camera.

I have the a720 also and I used the information found in these two threads ill link down below.

1.  loading the allbest-a720-100c-31 CHDK firmware
