I understand this is normal.. but I had no clue this was normal til today.. I was taking photos in raw for over a week on my canon powershot sx260hs with absolutely NO fish eye.. then all of sudden today I take about 100 shot and all the .dngs are fish eyed.

Does anyone know how to fix this easily? I went into lightroom and applied lens correction for a for 230hs because my camera lens was not listed (cannon 260hs)

what do you think is this okay? i think raw shoots a wider shot

You should be able to use http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5490 to create a lens profile for your camera. A manual is linked form that page.

Since the camera corrects jpegs in software, a quick way to check if you correction is reasonable is to is to compare with a camera jpeg. Loading a converted dng and a camera jpeg as layers in something like gimp or photoshop is a good way to do this.
Don't forget what the H stands for.

For the sx260 is a lens profile already available: http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=9268.0

Btw., the linked topic could be pinned.  ;)
