Hi,
i have been using the allbest build 49 for my canon a540 and its working pretty nicely. i wanted to know if theres a working build for the Canon S1 IS too? i was unable to find any build which was specifically made for S1 IS. if someones been using some build on S1 IS then kindly let me know.

There is no such build. And it's impossible to port the CHDK to S1. Too old cam, incompatible system...
