Hello

I'm new here, first of all I want to thank you for the job.

My skills are very poor but I succeeded to install CHDK for my Canon S95-100k

But what I want is to be able to control that camera with my computer (a mac or it would be the best : a Raspberry Pi)

I don't know how to do this ? Is there a script or something I have to download ?

But I forgot to tell : I'm 5 years old and French !

So I need to understand

This will not work with my mac, right ? Just Linux ?

I have to download a zip file and after that  ? Upload into my camera's SD card ?

I need little more details, if it's possible...

chdkptp is an application for your computer, you don't install it in your camera. In your camera you need to run CHDK.

Just one last question in cause I'm out of luck (actually I'm out of luck with my Raspi) : Is there a way with a Mac to take the control of my CHDK-S95 ?

A kind of Eos Utility+CHDK for dummies ?

It should be possible to make a snapshot SD card image for the Raspi with CHDK installed on one of the standard distro's if that route would work for you.

Could you be more explicit

I must say that I've been struggling with the Raspi, my Canon 7D, and Gphoto2 for over 2 weeks now...

I'd love to succeed controling a camera with the Raspi but I'm afraid it's too hard for me...

So I'd like to find a mac solution (thanks nafraf for the link but it's just for 10.8)

Your raspi has an SD memory card.  The operating system for the pi is loaded from that memory card, as are all the programs it runs.   Somebody who has chdkptp already loaded on their raspi could make a copy of their SD memory card that you could then install on your card.

If you did not setup your raspi's memory card yourself then this might seem a bit complicated.

Ok I do understand now...
If I want to control a compact camera like my Canon S95 I need Chdkdptp + Gphoto2

I'm gonna ask (don't know yet where but i'll try)
