Another problem, when I try out the search in the forums and type for example 1gx no answer at all, should I do this in a different way

Probably because the name of the camera is G1X, not 1GX.

Phil.

So tried out some scripts already, couldn't wait anymore. Downloaded a script for time lapse but didn't work. Script seemed complete for me, meaning the settings that could be done: Fix focus, turn display off and so but sadly it doesn't work on my g1x Took the last one but received error of an wrong character or so, seems a better script than the basics, a pity.
The scripts are okay.  There is nothing special about the G1X for running scripts. You must make sure that you are using a plain text file  (using notepad.exe to create it for example) and that  any script written in Lua must have a extension of .lua  ( e.g. ultimate.lua).

Script for G1X:  was meaning this one: Accurate Intervalometer - regular intervalometer with power-saving and pre-focus
The features seemed nice to me.
Did what you mentioned for the script but there are several versions and tried out the last one, what do you propose, try out the other scripts ?
Or should I change something to make it work (with digic5) ?

You are going to need to tell us in some detail what happened when you ran it.

Go ahead if you like - the simple ones included in CHDK include something called interal.lua  (and interval, bas),   Try running those?

This has nothing to do with the digic version of your camera.

Looking to this interval script (Accurate Intervalometer with power-saving and pre-focus) I can see 5 different scripts and somewhere is mentioned

"Original script doesn't work on SX100,SX200 IS (Digic III) camera ("display off" and "pre-focus" features are not working). "

&

"The above code mod also appears to work for the Digic IV processor in the G10..."

So witch one should i try ?

thx a lot for all your comments !

It's going to be a lot easier to help you if you will read my first two comments in my previous posting,  follow the suggestions,  and report back here what happened.

finally back and a little time

So scripts that came along with the program works well. But the script for the more pro time-lapse crashes.
Receive the mention  :1: unexpected symbol near '{'   ***TERMINATED***
Any Idea, thanks

The usual INTERVAL works but when I look to the images they will cause flicker because of little differences, any idea to help this.

ok managed the flicker problem by working manual and AF stops when changing to manual focus
And can close the screen that problem is solved to

So managed to have what I want but the script seemed fine

But was thinking about buying a Canon PowerShot D20 but don't know if this would be usable to do time-lapse with CDHK.
Is it so that the newer D30 isn't yet supported

Thanks for any response

It's not crashing - its halting normally on discovery of an error in your source file.

Most likely you have not created the script with a plain text editor (like notepad) and there are extra formatting characters embedded in the file.   Please attach the script file you are trying to load here and we can take a look for you.

The D20 is very usable for doing timelapse - or any other CHDK functions.
