Hi, I would like to know if the Canon IXY 50 is supported by CHDK? Could I use the SD300 or  IXUS40 CHDK instead?

Powershot SD4500 IS (USA) / IXUS 1000HS (Europe) / IXY 50S (Japan)  is supported.

In case you're talking about the 'old' IXY DIGITAL 50, it's the same model as the other two you're mentioning.
