hi everyone and thanks for your contribution,

I'm new around, I've purchased an IXUS 125HS / ELPH 110HS to hung the Digicam below a MultiCopt/Drone and I've UL the  ixus125_elph110hs-100d-1.2.0-3297-full_ALPHA according to my FW.

I've taken a few pictures with CHDK running, but I couldn't find the intervalometer feature.

I understood, I've to DL it and to create a TXT file, to drop it on the SD (while unlock)

after several attempts, I still cant read the file from the CHDK menu,
I must do something wrong.

by any chance, someone can guide me ?

Just dropping the script file on the card isn't quite right - you need to put it in the CHDK/SCRIPTS folder on the card.

Or use the script load file browser to navigate to the directory where you dropped  the script. ;)

I've prepared the 4Gb SD card with SDMInstaller
2 partitions

but before inserting the SD card in the camera I had only one folder CHDK,
once SD card inserted once into the camera, I end up with 2 identical CHDK folders that contains SCRIPT folder each, one on each partition.

my first question is that normal ?

so I've changed SD card, formatted another 16Gb with SDMInstaller, same scenario.

my second question where to UL the Script file ? on both CHDK folder ?

I've tried many different things, none of them is working. I still cant read the script from the camera...

when I press LOAD script function, screen blink once, and nothing happens.

i think my TXT file is not right, because it seems that when I press load the script function, nothing happens.

can someone email me a time-lapse script or drivelapse script that I can try with a diff source ?

reading the TXT file readMe in the LARGE partition > CHDK > Script > I find a Interval.bas that might be enough to replace the drivelapse.

since the script is preoladed, I should be able to access it ? but where ? still can locate it in the CHDK menu.

4Pack of Simple CHDK Scripts

Presented here are four simple scripts for Canon cameras using CHDK. 
Each script is available in both the Lua and uBasic programming language.
Make sure you have your camera in "shooting mode" prior to activating these scripts.

2) interval.bas & interval.lua
       - a script to continuously take pictures at a configurable time interval

It is not necessary to partition the sd card. Have you read the install guide? Your camera is released after 2010.

Use STICK and all  is fine. The SDM installer is the wrong software.

card formatted FAT32 1 partition

bootable and running, I've managed to load the script that comes together with the CHDK,

I'll look more into details for others parameters...

my only needs are:

taking pictures at 3 sec interval

continuous focusing (or lock focus on infinity if not possible)

ISO mini 50 to 320 max

Shutter speed mini 1000

LCD turn off for power battery saving

Press for Start Running Script and Press for End Running Script

RAW pictures is a must !!


any ideas for a script that could get as close as possible from that ?

Very few intervalometer scripts also do any exposure control.  So this might be your best option : http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/KAP_%26_UAV_Exposure_Control_Script
You can enable RAW in the CHDK menus - the script does not need to do that for you.

But regardless of the script you use,  I think you will be very lucky if you can take pictures every 3 seconds if you are also storing them as RAW.   Try taking a single picture with CHDK RAW enabled and time how long it takes.  Also,  I believe using DNG format makes this a bit worse although DNG works with more image processing software.
