i see some youtube videos about people using sx1is powershot and using time elapse with chdk, i have a sk1is, and the firmware is gm1.00f which i can't find when i tried to download chdk, and i saw this page saying that sx1 have to be installed in another way for chdk to work...
i wanted to take time laps photos...
i have a 4gb mem card

See the bottom of the following page for an official Canon firmware upgrade: http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/SX1#Official_Canon_Firmware_Update
After you successfully upgraded your camera's firmware, you'll find official CHDK releases for it: http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Downloads
As mentioned on the SX1 wikia page, you'll need to use a bootable SD card for CHDK.

See http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Prepare_your_SD_card for more information about installation, especially the blue box about the STICK utility at the top of the page.

thankyou for the reply, i updated the firmware , but that's all, i used card trick and so far, nothing is happening...
nothing, and how am i suppose to install the "countdown intervalmeter"? and then make it work?
no logo is appearing so far, nothing, just like a normal boot...
