Hi,
I found a link here in the forum for bug reporting that is not working anymore.
I am using CHDK_DE_sx50hs-100b-1.3.0-3351-full_BETA_rev_3351.zip in order to play with "Custom Auto ISO" in HiSpeed Burst Mode.
Usually my SX50 makes use of 800 ISO in HiSpeed Mode independent from weather/light conditions.
Even if you have a shiny day and could make pics with 1/500 and 100 ISO the SX50 simply selects 800 ISO.
With CHDK 1.3 I can overcome this problem by defining an interval of 80 - 100 ISO in combination with i.e. 1/500.
But I have two problems:1) Th AF-FRAME cannot be moved and resized anymore. Without loading CHDK 1.3 this is possible in HiSpeed-Burst-Mode (scene).
2) My SX50 indeed makes use of the min. Shutterspeed and ISO-Values defined in "Custom Auto ISO" but I always have to work with - 1 1/3 EV to get correctly exposured shots. Without -1 EV or -1 1/3 EV all shots get overexposured with my SX50 HS in HiSpeed burst mode!
An owner of the SX230 checked out the scenario mentioned above with the SX230 and confirms that he does not need to make use of -1 or -1 1/3 EV in Custom Auto ISO to get correctly exposured shots with i.e. 100 ISO in HiSpeed Burst Mode.
Best regards
