Setting custom white balance from script

Hello everyone,

I have been looking for an answer on the forum, but could not really find anything useful.

I have a multicamera system (64 Powershot A1400) and would like to set from script the cameras to custom white balance with a specific "value" (I don't even know how this custom white balance value is stored on the camera). For my application, I don't want to shoot in raw. This would slower significantly the workflow.
I am able to set them in custom WB mode via the propset "WB_MODE", but I don't know how to specify from script the "value" of the custom WB.
Ideally, I would set the custom white balance by hand on a camera, retrieve the "value"  and then set the custom white balance of the other cameras to this "value".

Thanks in advance for your help.

It would help to know how you are controlling or communicating with your 64 cameras.

Standard CHDK USB remote hookup in parrallel?

USB connected to the PC from every camera via USB hubs?
Ported :   A1200    SD940   G10    Powershot N    G16

Unfortunately, it's not known how to do this. Writing to the propcase that contains the actual WB values does not work, there must be some code required to actually set it.
Don't forget what the H stands for.

So far we are using a modified version of multicam.lua

is it possible to know what changes you made to the file multicam.lua?
You can share it or not?

Thank you

Just noticed that new models have an event procedure named 'SetWBTemperature'...
edit:
It has no visible effect. Probably not meant to be used in normal camera mode...
