Is sx280hs and 270hs supported?

Dear all,
I was looking for buying an upgrade and I had a look if it is supported through chdk? The camera model is listed in the wiki but is not clearly mentioned if it is supported or not.

"CHDK is not available for the SX270HS or SX280HS"

The SX270 & SX280 have DIGIC6 processors.  Cameras using a DIGIC6 processor are basically not compatabile with the current version of CHDK.   It's going to take somebody with a lot of time and skill and access to a DIGIC6 camera before that situation changes.

Do you think there is a kind of prediction when it can be available? like 6,9,12 months from now?

Official CHDK answer :

Unofficial Answer : could be a long time - even never.  It probably depends on one of the existing CHDK developers (and there are currently only about 5 or 6 active) deciding to buy a DIGIC6 camera and take the time to do the port.  Or on somebody new who is really good at assembly language arriving and deciding to attempt the port.  In other words, "don't hold your breath".  Sorry.
