Wow - that would be a pain.  I guess you have to exit <ALT> to power the camera off?  Not much use terminating a runaway script.

Thanks ... I will try it. The camara is an IXUS125HS on an eBee UAV.

So maybe the camera will notshut down before landing.. >:(

I will try anyway to see what happens...

You can modify any CHDK script to turn the camera off.  You just need a signal telling the script when to do so.  Like a long pulse on the USB 5V power or something.

The IXUS125HS has 1.01a firmware....

Thanks a lot, nafraf.

It works. Now I can auto start the exposure script script and when UAV turns off with Key power, the camera is closed!
