Partition not working properly after booting to CHDK

Hi All,

I followed the instructions on how to setup CHDK on a Mac, got everything pushed over to the SD Card with Partition 1 being 15MB and Partition 2 being ~8GB.  I'm able to boot into CHDK and i'm able to mess around with settings (mostly) and take pictures.

My issue currently is that the pictures i take go directly to the 15MB partition.  I've triple checked the instructions and verified that all the files are in the proper partitions.  Is there something i'm missing?

What camera are you using?   Cameras released after Jan 2011 do no need - and do not support - dual partitions.

That might be my issue, it's an A3400IS, should i be using single partition with FAT32?

Yes.

For reference,  the only current and up-to-date guide to installation is here : Prepare your SD card

and the STICK utility it mentions is highly recommended as the best way to install CHDK.

Thanks for the info, i had seen that guide but  just glazed over the date requirements.  Makes sense.  I reformatted and put the files on and i'm all good.  Thanks for the help!!!!!
