I modified your script and tested it.  The display on my A1200 goes off and stays off (with Canon Review mode disabled).  I've attached the modified version.

Yep, i edited it and it works flawlessly.  Do you know if there is a way for me to stop it or would i have to turn the camera off?

Press the shutter button to stop a running script.

If the display is blank,  press the <ALT> key to exit CHDK and then press the "DISP" key a couple of time to restore it.

Alternatively,  you could modify the script to trap any key press and exit the script after first turning the display back on.
