It's a typo, you have 0x1x... in the code.

Using codegen for assembler is highly recommended. Also, since Akira's port seems to be quite far along, you'd be better off using that as your base and just making a new sub.

edit:
I also have no idea what is meant by "double blind" method. A blind port is one made without access to the camera.

Don't forget what the H stands for.

So a "double blind" port is one made without access to the camera or the code ?   :D
Ported :   A1200    SD940   G10    Powershot N    G16

A blind port is one made without access to the camera.

I Fixed the Typo, continued debugging, and then discovered a small amount of un-ported code.

The "double blind"  porting method is simply working on two blind ports at the same time.

example #1 Ixus 265 and the Sx600

example #2 Ixus 145, Ixus 150, Ixus 155 and the Sx400.

It sounds silly but in example #1 they are actually a good matching pairs for the more
difficult parts of porting code.

Again in example #2  they are actually a good matching set.

Also, since Akira's port seems to be quite far along, you'd be better off using that as your base and just making a new sub.

"...The source [#3] by akira for, filewrite.c, movie_rec.c, capt_seq.c are still
based on the a2500 port...."

Only [#3] Boot.c is done the filewrite.c, movie_rec.c, capt_seq.c files are just direct copies of the a2500.

So, in terms of file size, Akira's port is less than 20% done.

H-H's version,  in terms of file size, is about 90%++ done, BUT not yet de-bugged.

For #1 Ixus 265 and sx600. [paired]

For #2 Ixus 145, 150, 155 and Sx400. [as a set]

Hello there,

Just a simple post to say that I own this camera, I don't have any experience on programming, but I would love to contribute by running some tests when it will be the time, so just ask in this thread if you need testers.

One again a huge thanks for your work here !

Tom
