Hi!
Canon A470. CHDK 1.3.0 , script Meteor2.lua.
Everything works well, takes pictures, but differently - after 5, 8 , 12 minutes or sametime after 30 minutes camera switches off by itself.
For example, like in this post :
http://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/3070026
I've power supply 3,3V from ATX (3,3V 20A !!!)  Automatic power (auto-shut down in the energy saving) options is of course disable.
Is this a bug in the version chdk 1.3.0 ?? or in meteor2.lua ???  or maybe it is general bug in Canon PS Axx ?

Always possible.  Especially with a script that does low level calls to play with the camera's mechanical components.

It would be helpful if you can get a crash log :
CHDK Menu -> Miscellaneous Stuff -> Debug Parameters -> Save ROM crash log

Assuming the time and date on your camera is set correctly,  this should give us a clue as to what might be happening.  Try it a couple of times so that we can see if its actually crashing and in the same place.

Update : it would probably also be useful to know how you have set each of the script parameters

OK, I made a mistake...    8) Power was good but cable too thin and too long . Voltage has fallen down. Now all is well but appeared another problem : Scipt stops on 0:00  I ran test right now : I moved the time in canon menu to 23:59 and ran script. Precisely at 0:00 script pulled up !!
Waterwingz help me last time  ???.... also need crash log ?

Oh oh ... "somebody" used the get_day_seconds() function to implement the intervalometer addition to the original script and didn't consider midnight roll-over.

I'll post an update later today.
